Weekend Gathering

All the experiences at Journey Life Church are comprised of  two primary elements: powerful worship and a life-changing message. Worship at Journey Life Church is led by a worship pastor along with a talented live band and the style is constant with today’s culture. The message is delivered is an easy to understand method using much of today’s technology. You will also be able to apply the things that are taught each week to your life.

What should I wear?

We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. Jeans are the norm, so wear what ever you want, the pastors will be in jeans and so will most of the people. So, dress casually and you’ll fit right in.

Quick Note:

If you have Kids you will want to arrive a little early to get them checked in to Journey Kids. Trust us when we say we designed the space for kids. It rocks! Most kids don’t want to leave.

Weekend Experience:

Now don’t worry no one is going to single you out or ask you to stand up and give your name. Grab a free coffee and bagel or cookie  from the cafe, bring it into the Auditorium and relax. Here is what happens…

1. Opening Video
Sit back and watch a video helping prepare you for a time of worship.

2. Sing
The next 20 minutes or so, we’ll sing some simple songs to God. Feel free to have a seat anytime. Some people like to stand the entire time. Just be comfortable. The words to the songs will be on the big screen on stage.

3. Welcome
We’ll briefly tell you about a few things happening around here.

4. Giving
For those who value the mission of this place and are learning to give, this is a time to give back to God a portion of what He’s given to us.

5. Illustration Video Normally we will have an opening video to the sermon time. It is many times funny but always thought provoking.

6. Message
Our speaker will give a 25 to 30 minute message about applying God’s truths to life’s challenges. Listen to a recent Gathering (service).

7. Big Finish
A short closing prayer and response time and that’s it. Feel free to grab a bite to eat at The Café or top off your coffee, check out the Journey Kids area, or stop by the connection kiosk if you have any questions. Don’t forget to pick up your free gift for first time visitors at the connection kiosk.
