Lead Pastor
Brian Henley is the founding and lead pastor of Journey Life Church in Holt, Michigan. At just 3 years old the church averages over 300 people during weekend service. Brian is a gifted communicator and teacher, convicted about speaking the truth as plainly as possible. God has given him a vision and a passion for helping people meet Jesus, and each week he shares God’s word and its practical application in our daily lives.
Brian, his wife Kasha and their three kids, Jordyn, Gabe, and Josiah, live in Lansing, Michigan.

Executive Pastor
Jerry Hildebrand serves as the assistant pastor to Lead Pastor Brian Henley of Journey Life Church in Holt, Michigan. Jerry is fully committed to the vision and passion that Pastor Brian has laid before the church. Jerry serves the church by protecting and assisting the pastor, managing and organizing the church, planning events, and striving to meet the needs of the church body and community.
Jerry and Tracy were born and raised in Springfield, Mo. They met in their local youth group, fell in love and got married out of high school. Before pastoring at Journey Life Church Jerry managed a church furniture business and Tracy worked a child care business out of the home. Together they have three beautiful kids.
Jerry, his wife Tracy and their three kids, Riley, Ian, and Isaac, live in Holt, Michigan.

Life Group/Counseling/Care
Hollis Henley is the pastoral counselor for Journey Life Church. Hollis graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Ministries and Bible and is ordained through the Assemblies of God. He has over ten years of Pastoral experience. His love for God is expressed in his everyday life. God has given him a heart to listen and to pray with people.

My name is Benjamin Shartow and I’m here to say, I love Fruity Pebbles in a major way!
Check it out. I’m just a Christ servant, youth pastoring, Emcee DJing Art Van salesman, who plays percussion and loves his family. I have the most beautiful, loving, hardworking, stay-at-home wife/mom who not only takes care of me (I know, a real task right?), but takes care of my God fearing, Christ worshiping children; my music loving, laid back, handsome son Gabriel, and my beautiful, dramatic, look-at-you-and-melt-your-heart princess, daughter Gianna. And a beautiful baby girl Abigail.
My passion is for my God, my family, supplying for my family (you know, food on the table, roof over your head kinda stuff), and the students at Journey 21…in that order! My goal is to give every student the chance to make the right choices in life that will launch them toward success…the first being a relationship with Christ. We serve as a family and invite any student to be a part of our family. Gota eat, gota work, gota have fun!

Worship and Creative Arts
Carl and Christian Fauth are the worship/creative arts pastors at Journey Life Church. They have been worship pastors at previous churches totaling over 5 years. While in Canada attending Briercrest Bible College, Carl toured with Christian bands and played on many albums in the studio. Christian majored in Church Communications/Drama while attending Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. They bring a combination of worship styles to Journey Life Church with both high energy and intimate worship. (styles like Hillsong United, Lincoln Brewster, Desperation Band and Chris Tomlin)
Carl and Christian moved to the Lansing area from Montana in August of 2008 to work at Journey Life Church. In 2009 they gave birth to a handsome little boy, Gipson.
