Lead Pastor
Brian Henley is the founding and lead pastor of Journey Life Church in Holt, Michigan. At just 3 years old the church averages over 300 people during weekend service. Brian is a gifted communicator and teacher, convicted about speaking the truth as plainly as possible. God has given him a vision and a passion for helping people meet Jesus, and each week he shares God’s word and its practical application in our daily lives.
Brian, his wife Kasha and their three kids, Jordyn, Gabe, and Josiah, live in Lansing, Michigan.

Helps/Missions Pastor
Jerry Hildebrand serves as the Helps/Missions pastor at Journey Life Church in Holt, Michigan. Jerry is fully committed to the vision and passion that Pastor Brian has laid before the church. Jerry serves the church by protecting and assisting the pastor, managing and organizing the church, planning events, organizing mission trips and striving to meet the needs of the church body and community.
Jerry and Tracy were born and raised in Springfield, Mo. They met in their local youth group, fell in love and got married out of high school. Before pastoring at Journey Life Church Jerry managed a church furniture business and Tracy worked a child care business out of the home. Together they have three beautiful kids.
Jerry, his wife Tracy and their three kids, Riley, Ian, and Isaac, live in Holt, Michigan.

Administrative Assistant
June Castonguay serves as the Administrative Assistant at Journey Life Church in Holt, Michigan. Along with assisting Pastor Jerry, June also serves as the receptionist and the communications hub for Journey Life Church. Her goal is the serve the vision Pastor Brian has laid before the church by bringing organization, efficiency, and clarity in communication.
June was born and raised in Michigan. Before joining the staff of Journey Life Church, she taught for 24 years in Christian schools, including New Covenant Christian School in Lansing. After losing her husband in 2009, she decided not to return to teaching, and feels blessed to be able to serve the Body of Christ here at JLC. She and her beautiful daughter Abigail live in Lansing, MI.

My name is Benjamin Shartow and I’m here to say, I love Fruity Pebbles in a major way!
Check it out. I’m just a Christ servant, youth pastoring, Emcee DJing Art Van salesman, who plays percussion and loves his family. I have the most beautiful, loving, hardworking, stay-at-home wife/mom who not only takes care of me (I know, a real task right?), but takes care of my God fearing, Christ worshiping children; my music loving, laid back, handsome son Gabriel, and my beautiful, dramatic, look-at-you-and-melt-your-heart princess, daughter Gianna. And a beautiful baby girl Abigail.
My passion is for my God, my family, supplying for my family (you know, food on the table, roof over your head kinda stuff), and the students at Journey 21…in that order! My goal is to give every student the chance to make the right choices in life that will launch them toward success…the first being a relationship with Christ. We serve as a family and invite any student to be a part of our family. Gota eat, gota work, gota have fun!
