This year we went bigger and you won’t be disappointed! We brought in national recording rock artist Everyday Sunday, the winner of Battle of the Bands, Kazha, back from Japan to open, and FREE Cottage Inn Pizza for everyone. Chill at the cafe with a specialty coffee, jump around on the Inflatables, or play one of our game systems or air hockey; it’s all FREE. Imagine with me for a sec…You walk into a cool building with rockin music, and you can’t figure out what to do first. Someone says hi, but your distracted by the noise in the corner. So you turn to find the noise is from the airhocky table, and some of your friends are playin foosball. Before you check it out, you grab some grub and a drink from the cafe. You say hi to a couple more friends and plop down on the huge bean bag. Then it hits you. This can’t be church…this place is different. This place is more! A count down begins on the big screen and everyone heads towards the seats.”Welcome to Journey 21″ someone shouts on the mic. Journey 21 is getting under way, here we go…
Listen, we’re just real people who Love God, Love People and Love Life. We’ll take the time to know you and your friends personally, face some of the tough issues you face everyday, always eat, chill, and have a blast. You’ll be encouraged to not merely sit on the edge of life and wonder, “What if,” rather be challenged to cling to Christ and jump into an exhilarating life of Loving God, Loving People, and Loving Life! Come hang with us, and energize your week at the Journey 21 Student Events Center, every Wednesday night from 7-9p.m., first Wednesday of the month there is no service. This time is reserved for your family and friends.
