Chi Alpha U of M – Nino and Tammy Guarisco

Ministry
Tammy and Nino worked at the University of Michigan Chi Alpha chapter until 1997. In 1997 they moved to Boise, Idaho with a group of 7 “tent maker” missionaries and planted a new ministry at Boise State University, home of the blue Astroturf! This was an invaluable experience for them, and God taught them many lessons about campus ministry, and most importantly, about themselves.
In 2003 they began their present season of ministry. Nino and Tammy returned to Ann Arbor to once again do missions work at the University of Michigan, their alma mater. They are planting a new campus church at UM called H2O Campus Church. As Chi Alpha missionaries, their desire is to reach UM students for Christ, mentor them in their new faith and release them into a lifetime of service within the local church. Planting a campus church is a new model for our Chi Alpha team. They are excited to be pioneering something new and cutting edge which they believe has the potential to impact many students for Christ here at UM and across the nation.
