Most Embarrassing Moment:
We went to some friends house for dinner and after dinner I started not feeling good, now I should have left but I was afraid I would not make it home, so I used the restroom probably at least ten times. It was loud at times and very awkward to have to keep getting up. The host thought it was there food, and it wasn’t I had drank too much coffee and for me it is like a laxative without food, which I hadn’t eaten all day. Very embarrassing, and yes I know gross too.
Why do I write?
I love to communicate to people on all levels and through all forms, whether Facebook, email, Twitter, and the list is still expanding. I love the speed of communication in today’s culture. What took me weeks to communicate is now being done in minutes and done without the cost of a stamp or envelope. My goal is that through something I communicate people will be drawn closer to God and a relationship with him. I want people to be real and honest in their walk with Christ. I want to see a generation stop playing church and start being the church. No one is perfect and no marriage is without struggle. So my communication is real and hard hitting but it is done with love. We talk about things the church has been silent about for too long.
BIO:
Brian Henley is the founding and lead pastor of Journey Life Church in Holt, Michigan. At just three years old the church averages over 300 people during weekend service. Brian is a gifted communicator and teacher, convicted about speaking the truth as plainly as possible. God has given him a vision and a passion for helping people meet Jesus, and each week he shares God’s word and its practical application in our daily lives.
