God at the Movies

Coming to a Church Near You.

Journey Life Church is proud to kick the fall off with a brand new five week sermon series starting Sept 5th at 9:20 or 11:20 called God at the Movies.

Nothing shapes our culture quite like the movies. They’re a place to ask hard questions, tell stories, think about our past and learn about our hopes. With that in mind, we’ll look at some recent movies that seem to have something big to say and bring God’s revealed truths into contact with what we see on the big screen.

Join us, as we take a look at clips from the best movies from the past year and talk about the truth and implications for our lives — as we find God at the movies.

JLC Clothing Exchange Drop Off

Drop off Sept. 11, 9am-1pm| Shop Sept. 18^th, 9am-1pm @ Journey Life Church

Make an impact by participating in the clothing drive.  Whatever we will have left over will be donated to Shared Pregnancy and the Woman’s Shelter. Thirsty Book Club Discussion

Read at home at your leisure and join us for a time of discussion on the first half of the book. Remember to do the discussion questions in the back of the book. This is a great way to go deeper in your walk with Christ and to get to  know other woman at Journey Life.  The second discussion is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 12.  If you haven’t picked up your book yet, it’s not too late!  Stop by the Connections kiosk to get your copy!
